Retirement Planning
Retirement has a different meaning to everyone because some say that they do not wish to work again a day for the rest of their life, others want to be on holidays around the country, whilst others again would be more than happy working a few days a week. Reality is what is important to each and every one of us is different. Once we narrow down what is important we then need to determine do we have enough to achieve that. That is why planning ahead is important.
According to the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia in their benchmark study as at December 2020, found that for a modest lifestyle for a single person from age 65 may be approximately $28,179 per annum or for a couple it is $40,739 per annum. For a comfortable lifestyle the amounts increase however again it is about what is important to you and what you want during retirement. It is more important than ever to talk to someone to help you.
